Assistant Centre Manager

The role of an Assistant Centre Manager is pivotal to the overall success of a centre. As a key member of the leadership team, this position plays a crucial part in driving attendance and program participation.

This is a leadership role that requires exceptional skills in customer experience, product management, health and safety compliance, and pool operations management. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in industry sectors such as Health, Fitness, Aquatics, Hospitality, Tourism, Retail or Business, with proven leadership and people management abilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across all centre functions
  • Drive leisure centre attendance and program participation through effective planning and execution
  • Manage sales, patron experience, risk mitigation, and compliance
  • Maintain health and safety standards and adhere to regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications:
  • Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Royal Life Saving Pool Operations Certificate
