Job Description

This position provides strategic leadership and clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary Child Protection Unit to ensure high-quality assessments and therapy for clients.

The role will involve providing leadership and guidance to social workers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective services to clients.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing projects, monitoring progress and performance, and enhancing service quality improvement.

They will also be responsible for planning, monitoring, and reviewing services and policy, coordinating student placements, and supervising social workers.

Additionally, the role will involve education and training, as well as participation in research.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • A high level understanding of current child protection and child sexual assault service policy and practice
  • Experience in developing projects, monitoring progress and performance, and enhancing service quality improvement
