Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the Corporate Bookkeeping team, building client relationships, and delivering high-quality services.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a track record of mentoring and managing teams, and exceptional business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and empower teams to perform at their best while fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with clients, colleagues, and team members to drive collaboration and long-term success.
  • Provide proactive, commercially driven insights and advice tailored to complex client needs, positioning yourself as a key partner in their success.
  • Partner with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure delivery is compliant, meets financial and quality targets, and is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage technical portfolio of work, including reconciliations, AP, AR, Payroll, BAS, and IAS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management reporting with deadlines and budget expectations met.
  • Contribute to business development through networking, proposals, and presentations to potential new clients.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance team performance and technical competency within the Corporate Bookkeeping service offering.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years' experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role in a professional services accounting firm (preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, managing, and inspiring teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  • Exceptional business acumen to deliver value-add advice and meet growth KPIs.
  • Client-centric approach with the ability to manage large portfolios and deliver an exceptional end-to-end client experience.
  • Professional certification – Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
