Senior Governance Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Professional to join our governance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to work with ASX listed, public, and private clients, providing high-quality company secretarial and governance services.

About the Role:

As a Senior Governance Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional governance services, managing relationships with boards, executives, shareholders, registries, lawyers, and regulators.

  • Delivering high-quality company secretarial and governance services across your client portfolio
  • Managing relationships with boards, executives, shareholders, registries, lawyers, and regulators
  • Advising on governance obligations under the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, and Corporate Governance Principles
  • Maintaining corporate records and statutory registers
  • Developing and maintaining best practice governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring clients remain compliant with statutory obligations
  • Contributing to business growth and participating in business development initiatives
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Company Secretary or in a company secretariat function (ASX listed company experience is essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), ASX Listing Rules, and Corporate Governance Principles
  • Relevant degree and/or governance qualifications (e.g. GIA)
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional written communication
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
