
Business Development Specialist

Job Description
As a Small Business Banker, you will be responsible for fostering business relationships with customers and driving portfolio growth. You will leverage your professional networks to support small business customers in bringing their business ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage lending requests up to $2 million and home lending up to $5 million
- Convert leads into successful outcomes, fueling growth and delivering exceptional results while driving customer advocacy
- Be customer-centric and increase the portion of customers who consider us as their preferred banking partner
- Deliver tailored banking solutions by understanding our customers' needs
- Build relationships with brokers and proprietary customers to create new business opportunities and support existing customers
Requirements:
- Motivation to build genuine personal connections with our customers, empowering them to feel confident and bring their business dreams to life
- Experience in business banking or retail banking and navigating credit processes
- Strong customer management and relationship-building skills, along with a passion for networking and growing your portfolio
- Problem-solving, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
