Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team in Mackay.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and drive sales growth.

The role involves developing strategies to target new business opportunities, engaging with existing clients and identifying areas for improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing strategic sales plans, leveraging product knowledge and working collaboratively to ensure customers receive the best Price, Range, and Service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expansion of existing client base
  • Bid on and manage large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding customer expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide exceptional service and support to customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions and project progress

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales or account management roles, preferably within the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Detailed understanding of commercial contracting and construction processes
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly
