Job Title: Senior Community Leader

We are seeking a Senior Community Leader to lead our Robust SIL Service with proven leadership experience in the disability sector.

  • Guide and support clients and mentor Support Workers to highlight the value of consistency & professional boundaries.
  • Promote a person-centered, active support approach, giving our clients choice & control over their lives.
  • Oversee the effective management and daily operations of SIL accommodation services.
  • Foster a positive environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued & safe.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of NDIS plans, ensuring clients have a voice and actively supporting their independence, hobbies, and interests.
  • Address performance management and conflict resolution as needed.
Requirements:
  • A qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in Social Services or relevant domain.
  • Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards, including NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and National Standards for Disability Services.
  • A NSW Drivers License, Current First Aid and CPR certification, NDISWC, and WWCC.
