Senior Community Leader

The Senior Community Leader oversees the daily operations of their site under broad direction from the Regional Manager, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and model person-centered practices
  • Provide direction, coaching, and development opportunities to staff to address learning needs and build capability.
  • Support the team in delivering high-quality services aligned with participant care plans, goals, and outcomes.
  • Develop fortnightly rosters allocating staff according to contract hours, planned leave, and participants' rosters of care.
  • Ensure timely data collection and analysis to identify trends in client support needs.
  • Monitor and implement processes to ensure accurate reporting to governing bodies.

As a Senior Community Leader, you will have a deep commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities and a track record of driving business growth. You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications (minimum certificate IV) in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or other health-related fields.
  • Experience and expertise in working directly with people with mental health issues, complex needs, and their families and carers.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve quality service outcomes, including professional supervision experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, incorporating effective planning, time management, problem-solving, organizational skills, and achieving quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capacity to prioritize and manage customer service delivery requirements.
