Preadmissions Clinic Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Preadmissions Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the perioperative liaison nurses, surgical doctors, anaesthetics team, pharmacy, and allied health professionals to prepare patients for elective procedures.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills, including relationship building, cooperation, conflict resolution, influencing others, and facilitating open discussions. They will be enthusiastic, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively in a busy clinical environment.
- Creating a professional experience for all patients by providing a friendly and courteous service either by telephone or in person;
- Admitting and discharging patients from the clinic and assisting in clinic flow;
- Booking patient appointments with attention to detail;
- Supporting patients and their carers in relation to their contact and/or visit;
The successful candidate will also contribute to quality improvement projects within the department and have previous experience coordinating clinics.
