Job Title: Perioperative Liaison Nurse
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team as a Preadmission Liaison Nurse. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the best possible outcome for every patient on our planned surgery list.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a patient advocate and provide education and support during the pre-operative period.
- Lead the coordination of care provided by the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Continuously strive to improve service quality by adhering to Planned Surgery Access Policy.
To thrive in this role, you will need excellent clinical skills, strong time management and organisational abilities, and exceptional communication skills. You will also require advanced Microsoft Office literacy, experience with hospital Patient Administration Systems (iPM), and well-developed interpersonal skills with a strong patient focus.
