About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a passionate experienced Preadmission CNC to join the Surgical Access Office.



Responsibilities
  • Act as a patient advocate and provide patient education and support during the pre-operative period.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating care provided by the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome for every patient on the planned surgery list.
  • Continually strive to improve the service we provide to both our patients and the health service, by adhering to Planned Surgery Access Policy 2024.

  • Experience and knowledge of hospital Patient Administration Systems (iPM).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Literacy.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with strong patient focus.
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
