About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Payments Officer to join our Payment Operations team on a temp-to-perm basis. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and efficient payment processing, supporting reconciliation tasks, and ensuring outstanding service to both customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payment Processing: Perform daily payment processing and reconciliation with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support and Reporting: Assist the Team Leader with reporting, data analysis, and enhancing operational procedures.
  • Complex Queries: Act as a senior contact for complex queries, helping to resolve operational challenges.
  • Payment File Management: Monitor and authorize payment files for Australia and NZ, ensuring compliance with all standards.
  • Change Management: Participate in change management initiatives, providing valuable input and aiding in smooth project transitions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in operations, preferably within financial services, with a strong understanding of transactional banking.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach. You thrive in a customer-focused setting and take pride in delivering accurate, efficient work.
  • People Skills: Demonstrated ability to coach, support team members, and build productive relationships with internal stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $40 - $45 per hour + Super
