Health and Wellbeing Manager Opportunity

Developing a holistic health and wellbeing strategy is crucial for an organisation's success. As a Health and Wellbeing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding a comprehensive wellbeing strategy that aligns with our business goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing wellbeing programs that promote physical, mental, and psychosocial health across the organisation.
  • Monitoring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and proactively managing wellbeing risks and hazards.
  • Providing expert guidance on matters such as mental health, workplace hygiene, and ergonomics.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and contractors to integrate health best practices and foster a culture of care.
  • Conducting audits, pulse checks, and data analysis to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Championing employee engagement through tailored training, education, and communications initiatives.
  • Preparing and delivering clear and impactful reports to inform decision-making and organisational planning.

About You:

  • You'll have a tertiary qualification in Health and Wellbeing, Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, with 5+ years' experience in a complex operational environment.
  • You'll possess proven expertise in wellbeing strategy, psychosocial risk management, incident investigation, and workplace health programs.
  • You'll have a strong working knowledge of relevant health, hygiene, and safety legislation and standards.
  • You'll be an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence, educate, and build trusted relationships.
  • You'll be collaborative, consultative, and able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
