Job Overview

Linfox is seeking a skilled Subcontractor Network Manager to oversee our QLD/NT Subcontractor operations. As part of this role, you will play a crucial part in the onboarding, management, and continuous oversight of our subcontractor network for these regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the onboarding process for all new subcontractors entering the business or being sourced for new opportunities.
  • Ensure the Subcontractor driver group operates within the guidelines outlined in the Linfox Driver Policies/Procedures and complies with the Service Level Agreement terms and conditions.
  • Hold subcontractors accountable for the ongoing training of their driver groups, ensuring that refresher training timelines are met and maintained.
  • Assist the overall Linfox Business in establishing and sustaining a high-quality subcontractor pool.
  • Cultivate and nurture successful relationships with site teams through consistent communication and prompt responses to raised issues.
  • Support the activities of transport teams to ensure service delivery standards and customer expectations are met.

Requirements

  • Operational experience within the transport/logistics industry (essential).
  • High regard for safe working practices, understanding of COR and vehicle compliance.
  • Knowledge of fatigue management and heavy vehicle safety.
  • Proven leadership capabilities including ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining subcontractor networks across QLD/NT.
  • Strong operational skills with demonstrated attention to detail, and ability to seek out improvements in processes.
