Flood Warning Network Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced hydrographer to support the Flood Warning Network (FWIN) upgrade and acquisition program.

This role will provide technical input for the delivery stream of the FWIN Program of work, ensuring effective integration with the current network and a long-term perspective on the supportability and success of the enlarged network.

The successful candidate will work in the Observing Networks Service Management (ONSM) Flood team in the Observing Systems and Operations business unit (OSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input for the delivery stream of the FWIN Program of work
  • Ensure effective integration with the current network
  • Deliver with a long-term perspective on the supportability and success of the enlarged network

Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in flood warning systems
  • Experience in hydrography and flood warning systems
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Location: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth

Salary: $110,115 - $120, % super
