Job Overview

ING is seeking a skilled Chief Risk Management Officer - Technology to lead the technology risk function and drive proactive risk management capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all business-as-usual technology risk and control activities for supported tribes, including retail, technology, COO, enterprise, wholesale banking, and data.
  • Providing advice and challenge on decisions and processes regarding delivered technology risks and enhancement/development of technology controls.
  • Management of the technology operational risk profile and IT control first-line monitoring.
  • Monitoring and reporting (where needed) on the health of IT assets and the overall control environment for the tribes/Centre(s) of Excellence.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the threat landscape in Australia and globally to provide insights to the tribes/Centre(s) of Excellence.

Requirements:

  • Certification in one or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.
  • Experience in risk management and/or IT security is essential.
  • Knowledge of banking and relevant external regulations, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT General Computer Controls (ITGCs), Application-Level Controls, and technical Security Controls from industry frameworks such as NIST and CoBIT.
  • Technical understanding of the IT environment, including its architectural direction in context of risk management.
  • Experience with the implementation of NFR Framework within business units or cloud risk is an advantage.
