About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Risk Management Officer to join our team at IOOF Holdings Limited. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that will play a critical role in shaping the risk transformation of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business units in embedding and operating robust governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Assist the Enterprise Risk Management team in creating and overseeing resilient risk management practices.
  • Drive a culture of risk awareness and compliance across the business.
  • Provide expert risk management advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Oversight of business planning activities and relationship cultivation with key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to insightful risk reporting, including Board and Board Committee updates.
Requirements
  • A strong background in risk management, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge of risk and compliance principles and frameworks.
  • Commercial experience and strategic capability through advisory/business partnership roles.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • The ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving in complex environments.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive behavioural and mindset changes.
What You'll Bring
  • Significant experience in risk management or a related field.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, or a related discipline.

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
