About the Role:

  • Contribute to the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Cuscal's RMFS to enable effective risk management and support business objectives.
  • Coordinate the implementation of strategic and emerging risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify and manage material risks.
  • Support the design, establishment, and ongoing review of RMFS governance structures.
  • Monitor adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks and coordinate related reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective monitoring and reporting practices to embed risk appetite settings within the organization.
  • Act as primary contact for regulators, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Lead an internal community for consultation, feedback, and knowledge sharing on policy setting, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
  • Provide expert review and challenge as part of decision-making processes, ensuring risk-based decision-making.

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in law, finance, business, or audit.
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance management within the finance and banking sector.
  • Sound understanding of relevant laws, regulations, industry codes, standards, and prudential requirements.
  • Experience in operational risk and compliance roles, including risk management framework design and implementation.
  • Strong change management, project management, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A competitive salary of AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
