Chief Risk Governance Officer

Macquarie, a global financial services group operating in 34 markets, seeks a Chief Risk Governance Officer to drive proactive risk culture and framework understanding across technology and product teams.
The ideal candidate will partner with Banking and Financial Services teams as part of the L1 Risk function to ensure effective technology risk management, aligning with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies.
This role requires experience in technology operational risk management and/or audit type environments, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.
The successful candidate will have a practical understanding of implementing risk and control frameworks to manage non-financial risks in highly regulated contexts and be able to think laterally, problem solve, and grasp complex situations.
The estimated salary for this role is around $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
