Job Title: Sewage System Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sewage System Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing sewage assets, operational sites, and public facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to ensure all work is undertaken with safety as the priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in safe job planning, team meetings, and workplace inspections.
  • Demonstrate leadership by ensuring all work is undertaken with safety as the priority.
  • Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair sewage assets, operational sites, and public facilities as required.
  • Work effectively in a wastewater environment (sewage) and possess relevant vaccinations.
  • Hold a Western Australian MR or higher-Class Drivers Licence and current Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate 2 or 3 National Water Package or willingness to work towards.
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
