Job Opportunity:

  • The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance and monitoring of wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities.
  • This full-time contract position requires an experienced Civil Operator to join our Wastewater team in Mandurah, where you will be regularly outdoors, inspecting and maintaining wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities.
  • Carry out safe and efficient operation of equipment and tools.
  • Participate in regular workplace inspections and job planning meetings.
  • Demonstrate leadership by prioritizing safety and promoting a work environment with zero harm.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and participate in a standby roster.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a wastewater environment (sewage) with relevant vaccinations.
  • Western Australian MR or higher-Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
  • Background in water supply and wastewater systems.
  • Full vaccination with Hep A & B required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
