Water Treatment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operator to join our team in Mandurah. As part of the Perth Region Field Service team, you will be regularly outdoors, operating and maintaining wastewater systems.

  • This is a permanent opportunity with flexible working arrangements including standby and on-call allowances.
  • The base salary is from $81,445 per year, plus a wastewater allowance of $200 per week.
  • Dry-cleaning services are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in safe job planning, team meetings, and workplace inspections.
  2. Ensure that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority.
  3. Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair wastewater assets, operational sites, and public facilities as required.
Requirements:
  • Certificate 2 or 3 National Water Package or willingness to work towards.
  • Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) - relevant vaccinations required/provided.
  • Western Australian MR or higher-Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets.
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
