In-House Commercial Law Specialist

An in-house Commercial Law Specialist is required to join our team. As a key member of the In-House team, you will work closely with top-quality lawyers and business stakeholders to advise on commercial contracts, negotiate agreements, and support various projects across the business.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to broaden your exposure to a variety of commercial contracts, including technology, construction, procurement, and operational agreements. You will be trusted to advise business stakeholders directly, review and negotiate high-value and complex contracts, and contribute to compliance initiatives and corporate governance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts;
* Support the business on complex commercial transactions and projects;
* Advise on contract risk, obligations and structuring across operational functions;
* Assist in managing contract disputes and working with external counsel where required;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Admitted as a solicitor in Australia;
* 4–7 years PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience in contract negotiation and transactional work;
* Experience in construction, infrastructure, or technology contracts will be highly regarded;
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work closely with non-legal stakeholders;
* Proactive, solution-focused and confident managing competing priorities;
