Employment Law Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced employment law specialist to support our operations and growth in the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on employment law matters, including:
- Recruitment processes;
- Employee compensation and benefits;
- Leaves of absence and flexible working arrangements;
- Contractor management and policy development;
- Performance management and disciplinary actions;
- Internal investigations and employee grievances;
- Workforce restructuring and organizational change;
- Draft, negotiate, and enforce employment agreements and policies;
- Develop scalable and compliant employment programs;
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of employment policies and practices;
- Support with employment-related disputes and litigation matters;
- Pragmatic risk assessment and commercial acumen;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- Experience creating and scaling processes and policies;
- JD or LLB degree;
- Minimum 4 years of legal experience with substantive employment law expertise;
- Law firm or in-house experience preferred;
- Proficiency in English required;
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin, or Korean considered an advantage;
