Occupational Therapist Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children achieve their development milestones and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
- Assist children with developmental delays to learn everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Help children achieve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to support play, school, or independent skills
- Educate and involve parents, carers and others to facilitate development and learning
- Support children with behavioral issues to maintain positive behaviors across environments using constructive strategies
Requirements
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating
- Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
- A full valid driver's license with access to your own vehicle and third-party insurance
- A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- A clear current Police Check, or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain
- First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and time management skills, and attention to detail
