About the Role

This role involves providing individualised support services to clients in their own homes or supported independent living arrangements, including domestic assistance, meal preparation, personal care, social and community participation, behaviour support, therapeutic activities, and more.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring and assisting clients with daily living tasks
  • Responding to client needs and collaborating with families and support networks
  • Reporting changes to client health and incidents through our system
  • Promoting independence and choice, while respecting client rights and privacy
  • Working within the NDIS Code of Conduct and providing Community Participation opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Life experience and the right to work in Australia
  • Similar work experience (preferred but not essential)
  • A current police check, first aid and CPR certificate, WWVP card, and Unrestricted Drivers License
  • A reliable car with comprehensive insurance and a strong work ethic
  • A caring and empathetic nature, completed NDIS worker orientation module, and NDIS COVID-19 infection control module
