Job Opportunity in Therapeutics and Pharmacy
We are seeking an experienced academic to lead high-impact teaching in Therapeutics & Pharmacy, preparing the next generation of health professionals for rural and regional Australia.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative teaching programs that cater to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Your expertise in therapeutics and pharmacy practice will be essential in shaping the curriculum and ensuring that our graduates are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their chosen careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality contemporary online and face-to-face teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of effective curriculum frameworks that align with industry standards.
- Promote a culture of scholarship and research within the institution by engaging in discipline-based research and publishing scholarly work.
- Foster strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure that our programs remain relevant and responsive to the needs of the profession.
Requirements:
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is highly desirable.
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the relevant regulatory body is required.
- Clinical pharmacy practice experience, particularly in a hospital setting, is essential.
- Clinical expertise with contemporary therapeutic knowledge and the ability to contribute to discipline research in the field of therapeutics and pharmacy practice are required.
- Proven experience in delivery of high-quality University-level learning and teaching in online, clinical, and face-to-face environments is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and align with the institution's values is essential.
