Seeking a strategic procurement expert to lead and deliver procurement activities.

About The Role

This role is crucial in ensuring fit-for-purpose procurement, compliance with government policies, and timely acquisition of equipment and services.

  • Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts;
  • Manage supplier relationships and maintain connections with partners;
  • Ensure efficient, compliant, and value-for-money outcomes.

The successful candidate will play a key part in system transformation and support translational research and workforce training.

The organisation prioritises research informed by lived experience and translates outcomes into new care models for better mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing processes to ensure meaningful engagement of those with lived experience, leading end-to-end procurement activities, and providing operational support for finance, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Support financial monitoring, manage procurement and funding documentation, and maintain records to support compliant purchasing processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in developing and implementing processes, leading procurement activities, and managing documentation and systems.

You should also be familiar with Oracle, PowerBI, and the Commitments Register.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
