We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled procurement professional to join our ANJ Category Management Team, where you'll facilitate strategy development and execution, sourcing, and supplier partnership for a designated portfolio.

The procurement expert will develop and implement local category strategies and support the development of global strategies. Key responsibilities include executing category strategy project pipeline, building and maintaining market intelligence, and managing annual ESG and productivity projects.

As a seasoned procurement professional, you will lead supplier relationship management (SRM) and supplier development programs in partnership with key stakeholders and strategic suppliers to deliver on strategic agenda and drive competitive advantage for the business.

You will measure and manage Procurement category performance against business needs.

  • Develop and implement local category strategies.
  • Execute category strategy project pipeline.
  • Build and maintain market intelligence.
  • Work with local and global stakeholders to collate and align mid-and-long-term strategies.
  • Define and manage annual ESG and productivity projects.
  • Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) and supplier development programs.
  • Measure and manage Procurement category performance.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Experience in managing commercial, IT and corporate services will be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualified, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and business procurement systems.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing procurement category strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, confident in problem-solving, with a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work with local and global stakeholders to drive business growth, innovation, and sustainability.
