Senior Human Resources Leader

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic and operational leader with a strong background in human resources. As the Senior Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing HR operations across multiple states in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to align with business objectives.

  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and coaching as needed.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations issues.

  • Present HR strategies and frameworks to clients, highlighting the company's commitment to workforce planning and effective HR management.

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, supporting HR teams and employees in their career progression and skills development.

  • Manage HR cycles, including Performance Reviews, Remuneration Reviews, and Capability Reviews.

  • Develop detailed workforce plans to ensure the right HR resources are allocated.

  • Lead regional recruitment teams to identify and attract top talent.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources or related field.

  • 10+ years experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role.

  • Ideal candidate has experience working in an engineering, construction or manufacturing lead business, with relevant ER/IR legislative knowledge.

  • Exposure to managing operations spread across different regions/sites.
