Product Development Lead

The Product Development Lead will spearhead the strategic direction and implementation of Artificial Intelligence software and systems to drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive vision for AI systems and solutions, aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver business cases for new AI initiatives, including value opportunity sizing and stakeholder alignment.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and user research to define product requirements and features, ensuring clear documentation for development.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria to inform sprint planning.
  • Define, implement, and track performance metrics for AI solutions in production, focusing on adoption and impact.
  • In partnership with technical leadership, identify necessary competencies and skills for the delivery team.
  • Drive user engagement and adoption through targeted demos and showcases.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines, with a proven track record of technical project delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and ability to effectively communicate across multiple business areas.
  • Solid business acumen and high-level understanding of product delivery processes.
  • Proficiency in modern product development tools, including agile methodologies, OKRs, lean testing, and user research.
  • Background in using AI solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity in mining or heavy industrial applications.
