AI Product Visionary

About the Role

This is a highly collaborative position responsible for driving operational productivity through AI software adoption. The ideal candidate will have experience in either AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines with technical project delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive vision for AI systems and solutions, leading quarterly planning sessions and defining OKRs.
  • Create business cases for new AI systems and solutions, including value opportunity sizing, delivery model, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Analyse data and conduct user research to define product requirements and features, providing clear documentation to enable development.
  • Build and prioritise the product backlog, developing user stories and acceptance criteria to feed into each sprint and accepting sprint results.
  • Define and track performance metrics once solutions enter production, focusing on adoption and impact.
  • Collaborate with technical leadership to define necessary competencies and skills required in the delivery team.
  • Drive user adoption and engagement by running demos and showcases to target users and the broader business.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in AI & analytics product development or mine operations technical disciplines with technical project delivery experience.
  • Cross-functional teams and ability to communicate effectively across multiple business areas.
  • Solid business understanding and high-level understanding of product delivery.
  • Modern product development toolkit, including agile development and OKR methodologies, lean testing, and user research.
  • Ai solutions and systems to drive improvements to efficiency and productivity in mining applications.
