We're committed to empowering our customers and colleagues to progress in incredible ways. As a National Relationship Manager - Middle Market Team member, you'll play a key role in driving growth within a diverse group of existing customers.

Your focus will be on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, account growth, and reducing attrition. You'll achieve success through a consultative selling approach, ensuring maximum account development and identifying exciting new opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retain and grow the existing relationship with a defined portfolio across multiple industries (approx. 200-250 Corporate Card Clients).
  • Regular account reviews
  • Issue resolution
  • Driving charge volume growth opportunities
  • Conducting needs assessments to embed additional American Express products & digital tools.
  • This is primarily a phone-based role with some face-to-face account management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate the ability to build account as well as client strategy development.
  • Experience in Identifying risk factors to protect the portfolio against loss.
  • Ability to influence & grow the business through beneficial conversations.
  • Capability in challenging the status-quo & influencing without authority.
  • An understanding of strategic account and pipeline management.
  • Resilience, Thought Leadership & ability to prioritize for success.
