Recreation Manager
Role Overview:This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of major recreation and aquatic facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee occupancy, operations, capital works, and maintenance of major recreation and aquatic facilities.
- Provide high-level service and support to recreation and aquatic centre operators.
- Act as the 'client' for capital works projects related to indoor sports centres, aquatic facilities, and other recreation projects.
- Manage occupancy and service agreements for externally managed sport and recreation facilities.
- Coordinate the administration of requests from user groups proposing facility improvement works.
- Tertiary qualification in recreation, management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent collaboration and engagement abilities.
- Strong report writing and briefing skills, along with high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage, plan, and organise workload to meet project objectives within approved timeframes.
