About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled team and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient infrastructure operations across a diverse portfolio.

  • Oversee the effective management, maintenance and lifecycle planning of all assets and infrastructure within the Western Region portfolio.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of corrective and preventative maintenance, in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Be a key member of a collaborative team, contributing to the development of maintenance strategies that support patient care and operational excellence across the sites.

Responsibilities

  • Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline, or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Services
  • Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally within healthcare or hospital environments
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management for maintenance operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a strong understanding of computer applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, working under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in managing and optimising CMMS platforms (e.g., Technology One, MEX, Maximo, or similar)

Requirements

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
