About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager - Industry Applications who will be responsible for driving sales volume and margin growth through strategic market expansion. Your key objectives will include maximizing revenue and profitability, identifying new business opportunities, and developing effective channel strategies to reach current and new markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with stakeholders to achieve region business revenue and margin expectations, focusing on sustainable double-digit year-on-year growth.
  • Geographical focus will be expanding businesses in Tier I and Tier II channel partners.
  • Participating in Country Business planning with clear specifics on strategy implementation, including Yearly country plans consistent with the overall NORMA Group strategic business unit vision and Balance Score Card.
  • Channel identification, qualification, and development to drive growth expectations.
  • Operating through interdepartmental communication and coordination in fulfilling enquiry-to-order and order-to-fulfillment and shipment cycles.
  • Liaising and coordinating with other NORMA Group setups within APAC and beyond regarding corporate and business development programs.
  • Maintaining a professional manner consistent with Corporate and Country guidelines and laws.
  • Sustaining an effective business dialogue with NORMA Group management, executives of end users, and management of channel members to drive commitment and growth for NORMA Group products.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Development, preferably in the Mining or New Energy sector. A postgraduate qualification in Sales and Marketing is preferred, along with demonstrated commercial analytical experience and strong reporting skills. You must also possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating with key stakeholders, building rapport, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers. Experience with eCRM systems and knowledge of customer relationship management, including assessing customer needs, meeting customer expectations, and evaluating customer satisfaction, are also essential.

A competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience, will be offered. Additional benefits, such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for professional development, will also be provided.
