Customer Success Manager
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to lead our team in driving customer adoption, maturity, and growth. As a key member of our management team, you will develop and execute strategies to ensure the successful onboarding, expansion, and renewal of our customers.
This role focuses on building strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business objectives, and acting as a trusted consultant and advisor in their use of our solutions. You will work closely with our internal teams to align customer adoption with our product roadmap, ensuring that our customers realize value from our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team and ensure each customer success manager can succeed
- Hire, train, mentor, and develop team members, providing clear career pathways
- Develop strategy for success and build out of your book of business
- Prioritize resource allocation and efforts with customers
- Drive the team towards key performance metrics
- Supervise and identify adoption, maturity, and growth trends for the team and customers
- Manage periodic customer health-checks and review customer health scores
- Collaborate with accounts and other internal teams to ensure customer success
- Partner with sales to engage in pre-sales activities for high-value opportunities
- Contribute to overall vision and strategy of the CSM organization
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8+ years of customer success experience, preferably in SaaS
- 2+ years of experience leading a team, preferably in SaaS
- Excellent communication skills with customers and within the organization
- Strong track record of identifying customer needs and implementing long-term software solutions
- Ability to build trust and rapport with a customer success team
- Proactive interest in increasing customer happiness and deepening customer relationships
