Job Title: Community Social Worker

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • We provide comprehensive social work services, including psychosocial assessments, counseling, advocacy, and case management.

  • Referrals are made to relevant services for our clients.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Social Work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience at a Level 2 Social Work position or equivalent, showcasing expertise in counseling and casework is required.
  • The ability to operate independently with minimal direct clinical supervision is also necessary.
  • Experience working in acute hospital settings or community health environments, handling sensitive issues like loss, grief, and bereavement is beneficial.
