Part of a global network of committed citizens from over 100 countries, SGSA is run solely by volunteers and aims to create awareness and explore the possibilities of the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our one-day summit features powerful speeches from inspiring industry leaders and since has had a significant impact in motivating individuals to take action towards creating a better world by 2030.

This year, the Summit will centre on Indigenous Wisdom, honouring the voices and knowledge of Aboriginal communities. To reflect this commitment, we're gathering at the heart of the country—Mparntwe (Alice Springs)—a place rich in culture, story, and connection.

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote and volunteer role for a Social Media Marketing Specialist. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing social media marketing strategies, creating engaging social media content, and managing social media accounts. Additional responsibilities include analysing social media performance metrics, collaborating with the rest of the volunteer team to integrate social media campaigns with digital marketing efforts, and participating in event promotions and communications.

  • Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing skills
  • Experience in Social Media Content Creation and Content Management
  • Strong Communication and Marketing skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Willing to help us make the world a better place
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
