Job Title: Clinical Nutrition Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality dietetic services to patients and clients across the Southern NSW Local Health District.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans to support their health and wellbeing. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess patients' nutritional needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • To provide education and guidance to patients and carers on healthy eating and lifestyle choices
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA)
  • Demonstrated minimum 6 months post-graduate experience working in dietetics
  • Demonstrated effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
