About the Role
The Social Worker - Alukura Maternity Services is responsible for delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed social and welfare services to support women accessing maternity care through the Alukura Midwifery Group Practice and Alukura multidisciplinary teams.
Through the utilisation of social worker methodologies, the Social Worker will undertake client screening and assessments, case management, collaborative care planning, advocacy, supportive counselling, and groupwork, and facilitate client access to community services such as Centrelink and other services that will help build self-efficacy.
