Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychosocial support services aimed at restoring socio-economic and cultural functioning to clients referred to our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) service.
  • Provide case management, advocacy, outreach, supportive counselling, and group work to assist individuals and their families in accessing community services and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the complex needs of our clients.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of social work theories and practices, particularly in the context of Indigenous health and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and mutual respect.

  • A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum, plus district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options.
