The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Alukura Maternity Services team. Located in the vibrant city of Alice Springs, NT, this is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women accessing maternity care.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated professional who can deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed social services to support women through their journey. As a Social Worker - Alukura Maternity Services (SWAMS), you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients to provide individualized case management, advocacy, counseling, and group work services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Client Screening and Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective case plans.
- Case Management: Provide ongoing support and coordination to ensure clients receive necessary services and resources.
- Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
- Advocacy and Supportive Counseling: Offer emotional support and advocate for clients' rights and interests.
- Group Work and Community Connections: Facilitate group sessions and connect clients with community services, such as Centrelink and other relevant organizations.
What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- Competitive Salary: $119,028 - $125,794 per annum.
- Total Effective Package: $144,239 - $153,568 per annum (including base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax saving from salary packaging options).
