Job Description

As a Meeting and Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and building strong client relationships.

You will proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets for meeting and event spaces. Your primary goal is to collaborate with the hotel's marketing and operations teams to create compelling sales collateral and promotional materials.

Conduct site inspections and provide clients with detailed information on the hotel's meeting and event facilities. Negotiate contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favourable to both parties.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the senior management team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet and exceed revenue targets for meeting and event spaces.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry professionals to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's marketing and operations teams to create compelling sales collateral and promotional materials.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a focus on meeting and event spaces.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Sales professionalism and self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
