About the Role

The AFL Australia is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our Legal team. As a Paralegal Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the team with contract management, coordinating the Toyota AFL Grand Final ticket scheme, and reviewing AFL brand usage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake initial drafting of template AFL documents, including consultancy agreements, player ambassador agreements, and event booking agreements.
  • Prepare competition and trade promotion terms and conditions.
  • Oversee legal requirements of the use of the AFL brand through the AFL's brand management platform Brand HQ.
  • Prepare and advise the business and AFL Clubs on the Toyota AFL Grand Final ticket scheme and major events legislation.
  • Provide assistance to the legal team with daily administrative tasks.
  • Support compliance with wagering and media partner contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate music copyright clearances for live music at events and AFL marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain AFL contract management system.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in a paralegal or sport administration role.
  • Superior communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Team player.
