Senior Claims Professional

We are seeking a professional with great communication and interpersonal skills to join our Insurance Claims team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and provide recommendations regarding insurer decisions for claims approval;
- Oversee the flow and status of claims, including payments and applicable arrangements in accordance with relevant policies;
- Manage administrative duties, including inbox and mail, taking calls, and dealing face-to-face with members;
- Maintain compliance across all activities in adherence with legal and statutory standards;
- Deliver timely and efficient claims reporting on a day-to-day basis and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Qualifications or experience within Insurance and/or Superannuation;
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
- Solid understanding of superannuation legislation and tax is desirable;
- RG146 is highly regarded;
- Stakeholder engagement skills and great attention to detail.
