Claims Management Position
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in supporting quality claims management and optimal claim outcomes.
About the Role
This full-time permanent position is based in Southbank, Victoria. Reporting to our Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve optimal return to work and claim outcomes.
- Proactively manage a claims portfolio within legislative requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Provide injured team members with high-level customer service and trusted advice regarding their claims
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders in developing and implementing claim strategies to ensure timely and sustainable return to work
- Conduct claim reviews and case conferences as required
- Develop, coach, and mentor team members on strategic claims management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience working within a workers compensation environment
- Excellent knowledge of current VIC Workers Compensation Legislation
- Experience in negotiating return to work and rehabilitation outcomes
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet agreed deadlines
- A genuine interest and passion to learn and develop new skills
