We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Claims Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims across multiple jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in workers compensation, excellent knowledge of VIC Workers Compensation Legislation, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively manage a claims portfolio within legislative and business requirements.
- Provide high-level customer service and trusted advice to injured employees.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement claim strategies.
- Conduct claim reviews and case conferences as required.
- Develop, coach, and mentor team members on strategic claims management.
- Significant experience in workers compensation or insurance environment.
- Excellent knowledge of VIC Workers Compensation Legislation.
- Experience in negotiating return to work and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
