This is a senior role that involves managing a portfolio of complex, underwritten, and high-value Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims.
- We are seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis.
- Manage a portfolio of 35-45 complex TPD claims with accuracy, efficiency, resilience, and empathy.
- Apply strong knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act and navigate additional cover complexities.
- Collaborate with technical experts and business partners to support sound, high-quality decision-making.
- Extensive life insurance claims management experience across either Group or Retail.
- Strong technical expertise across complex TPD claims.
- Strong understanding of insurance legislation and frameworks.
- Background in law or allied health is highly regarded.
- Strong analytical skills, resilience, and confidence managing complex and sensitive claims.
- Solid understanding of injuries, illnesses, and treatment.
