We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing the fortnightly payroll in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Analyse and process timesheets for multiple locations
- Understand taxation of employer paid benefits and PAYG
- Managing new starters and terminations
- Generating fortnightly and monthly financial reporting
- Leave Processing/Deductions/Allowances/Bonus/Choice of Super
- Building and fostering strong relationships across the business
- 3-5 years' experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, awards and ability to interpret EBAs
- Proficiency with SAP preferred, not essential
- Experience with Kronos desirable
- Intermediate experience in Excel and able to generate financial reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
- High level of professionalism, dealing with sensitive, confidential documents and personal information
- Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to uphold compliance standards
